My focus as a photographer towards social issues mostly relating to marginalization prompted me to investigate various aspects of “diversity”, such as this reportage on the LGBT world before this term was even coined. I documented the modest existence of a person not even thirty, dragging his daily prostitution, as a transvestite, to a small apartment in Lambrate, in Milan. Project made in 1990, exhibited the same year at “Teatro Zelig” in Milan and published in the catalogue “Lorenzo, city fawn”, with texts by Antonio Ria.
